Institute's associate partner consults to top sales management with focus
on leading sales with a system approach based on Goldratts theory of constraints in Japan, and to
Japanese enterprises worldwide.
EXPERIENCE
Yoko has a varied career in auditing, consulting and sales.
At PriceWaterhouse she gained experience in management consulting in the
areas of process engineering and IT implementation. In 1994 she joined SAP
in 1994 as a consultant in financial and management accounting. Yoko later
moved to sales with special focus on solving client problems in the
engineering and construction industry. In 1999 she moved back to
management consulting when she joined with her partner Haruyuki Uchiyama.
They started More Throughput, Inc in 2001.
Yoko is highly
educated and experienced in Goldratts theory of constraints (TOC). She is a certified
"Dettmer TOC
Thinking Process" leader.
She also
is the co-author of the business book “The True Reason Why the Company Can Not Change- TOC
Thinking Process Practicing Story”, Toyokeizai, 2003.
Haruyuki
Uchiyama, Senior Partner
Haru has a long career in Information Technology, including
computerization of manufacturing, distribution, and accounting
applications for clients in Japan.
An Information Systems (IS) specialist
with NEC Corporation until 1980, he collaborated with other IS
professionals in Taiwan and in Singapore to design, develop, and implement
custom software for clients.
Since 1983 as the first consultant for R/3 in
Japan, Haru introduced logistics applications such as Production Planning
and Plant Maintenance. His contribution to the spread of Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) in Japan includes presales consulting, training,
analysis, and implementation, in the industry solutions for steel,
semiconductor, machinery, and construction.
He shifted his activity to
management consulting such as business process re-engineering since 1999.
He founded More Throughput, Inc. now fully focusing on TOC (theory of
constraints).
In 2003 he published
his book "The True Reason Why the Company can not Change
– TOC Thinking Process Practicing Story" at Toyokeizai.
